     Yesterday, Altaf Hussain, leader of the political party MQM showed in his press conference, a large number of "evidence" about foreign plotting against Pakistan, stating that he was the only obstacle in the execution of those strategies.

(Although I was pretty busy and intended to restart my blog a month later, I did it today as this issue needed to have some light shed on it.
Altaf Hussain also made some other claims that I shall disprove im due course due to shortage of time)

     The EVIDENCE included a "top-secret" map that I had been seeing online since 2006, several "strategic plannings" written again Pakistan that were infact research papers by professors and journalists. These "evidences" will be discussed shortly.


     What REALLY upset me was the style Altaf Hussain used to make his arguments sound convincing; he had used several tactics to befool and confuse innocent people:

1. He repeatedly mentioned the names of people who had authored the articles.

2. He spelled each alphabet of the names as if he was fully confident that the evidence was not challengable

3. He mentioned ID codes/letters of the so-called strategic plans.

4. He kept emphasizing each and every silly point, as if it was something momentous.


This OVERACTING definitely could lead a lot of people astray, and I hope they shall not be blinded by believing this convincing false tales.


As far as the evidence is concerned, the secret map was infact made years ago (2006) and has been widely discussed online. It is no "secret plan" that MQM is trying to combat.
Besides, the "strategic plans to topple Pakistan" (e.g. The Balkanization of Pakistan, The Destabilization of Pakistan etc etc) that he showed were all either research papers or simple articles written by journalists. As you can see, it is merely a global research paper, not a scheme for toppling Pakistan, being kept from execution only by MQM.

I'm surprised that even the newspapers and TV Channels are still calling the map "SECRET". It is too popular and too common...

Conclusion:

Altaf Hussain presented invalid evidence in a convincing style, to cause a public misleading of the people. In the light of the disinformation tactics getting too common in modern times; used in particular by the political parties, the media, the writers online and more, I advise all the people to adopt a questioning approach and to verify whatever they come to know.
